You will be met in the subtropical city of Nelspruit by Kwa Madwala Lodge vehicle and driver who will be waiting for your arrival.

Upon arrival at Kwa Madwala you will be shown to your luxury chalet, then have lunch on the dining deck.

The activities coordinator at the lodge will discuss the events and excursions included in your package. You may want to add to the activities in your package and can do so at your own cost.

At around 4.00pm go for a sunset game drive in the Kwa Madwala Reserve of about 1.5 hours with the lodge ranger but you may also choose a guided walk in the pristine wildness.

Return for dinner on the sheltered dining deck suspended high above the landscape with unrestricted views all the way to the Crocodile River

Depart at 5:30am for a full day in the world famous Kruger National Park in pursuit of the “Big 5” Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. Guests will be provided with a generous packed breakfast.

The southern section of the Kruger National Park is renowned for its rich game and diversity of fauna and flora and offers excellent chances of seeing elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, leopard and several other general game.

Your ranger is fully experienced in finding the animals and informing you about their habits and lifestyles not to mention the areas bird life which is even more diverse than the mammals and reptiles!

Return to the lodge later in the afternoon. Spend the rest of your day at leisure, have dinner at the lodge.

Depart at 5:30am for a half day in the world famous Kruger National Park in pursuit of the “Big 5” Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. You will receive a packed breakfast which you can have when the game drive vehicle stops at one of the rest camps.

Your ranger is fully experienced in finding the animals and informing you about their habits and lifestyles not to mention the areas bird life which is even more diverse than the mammals and reptiles!

Get back to the lodge just before lunch.

After lunch you will go on an elephant back safari in the Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve. You can swap your elephant back safari for an elephant interaction experience. Kwa Madwala is extremely privileged to have two domesticated elephants that live within the Reserve and provide emotional and moving elephant experiences from interaction experiences.

These drives are conducted in both open 4×4 safari and closed air-conditioned vehicles. The majority of our international clients choose the open 4×4 safari vehicle option as it does offer an elevated view and a more panoramic experience. However, it should be pointed out that the closed vehicle is a good alternative for rainy, cold or extremely hot days.

After breakfast on the lovely dining deck perched high at Manyatta Rock Kwa Madwala it is time to take the lodge shuttle to Nelspruit to meet with your shuttle back to Johannesburg.
We assure you that you will have pleasant recurring memories of your relaxing time at Kwa Madwala and Manyatta Rock it is a little piece of bushveld heaven!
