What To Expect
Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area
This unique tour leaves early morning from Amman via desert highway. From here it's onto Jordan's legendary sandstone area of Wadi Rum. The enchanting Wadi Rum is an area almost surreal in its distinctive beauty. Cross red sand dunes and explore the beautifully eroded pillars of sandstone rock, among the natural attractions, are what have become known as ‘The Seven Pillars'. It was this area of Wadi Rum that so inspired T E Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). Wadi Rums' beauty remains intact and its breathtaking scenery is still an inspiration for those who travel there. Visit the famous spring at ‘Khaza'ali' and the Hanging Arch. We also drive along the rarely visited but equally stunning trails just beside the Saudi Arabian border. Back to Amman by evening. Lunch is not included on the tour.
