Embark on a boat tour of the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley. Admire some of the area’s loveliest scenery as you wend your way along the Danube River. Pick from several daily departure times, and set sail from Krems. As you travel to Melk and back, you’ll spy the grand Gottweig Abbey, will see the Schonbuhel Castle, and will even glimpse the ruins of Durnstein Castle, where Richard the Lionheart was once imprisoned. As you go, you can also dine at the on-board restaurant, if you wish (own expense).
